Hey everyone!
I’ve just put together a short tutorial about a new Social Media ‘Drill’ I’ve come up with called ‘Facebook In Fifteen Minutes’.
The drill has a very simple purpose: To DECREASE the amount of TIME spent on Facebook, while INCREASING your ACTIVITY and EFFECTIVENESS.
That is it. The formula is really easy …
Decrease Time + Increase Activity/Effectiveness = Social Media Mastery
The Facebook Fifteen Minute Drill is one way to begin achieving this desired outcome. I explain it start to finish in the video. Take a look, apply it, and let me know how it works for you.
In case you weren’t taking notes, here’s the layout for the drill:
Facebook In Fifteen Minutes
5 Minutes –> Personally reply to messages in Inbox with text and/or video (be inquisitive, answer questions, create conversation)
4 Minutes –> Comment on Status Updates of Active ‘Facebookers’ on your Top Lists
3 Minutes –> Be Present and Add Value to Active Groups you’re a part of
3 Minutes –> Be Present and Add Value to Pages you’re a Fan of
LOG OFF!!!
That’s it! Learn to love this ‘Drill’ and you’ll finally start to feel like you are controlling Social Media, instead of it being the other way around.
Have a terrific week everyone! I’ll catch you online!

Hey Dave!
I love that you have shared these tips. My goal is to spend 15 minutes everyday on Facebook buildling relationships and this is the perfect formula to accomplish this. Do you have a specific time of day that you do this? I can’t wait to try this. I love that you set a timer. That is definitely what I need to do. It is so easy to lose track of time reading all of the messages and updates on Facebook. I also spend a lot of time checking out the new friends that I have just accepted.
Thanks for sharing your great tips!

Thanks Dave.
The 15 minute drill is an awesome tool. I often find myself getting lost on Facebook in the various things that are going on. And, the next thing I know an hour has gone by. This is a great tool to implement and use to keep you focused and on track.
Thanks for sharing this. I’ll let you know how it works out for me.

Wow Dave what a great post! I definitely needed to see that one! I totally get sidetracked when I am on face book. I think one of the key things you mentioned is utilizing a timer. Sometimes I can be on a page and think I have only been on for 5 minutes and it has actually been 15 minutes. So timers are key as well as grouping your friends so you can not get sidetracked interacting with family when you are trying to be focused on building your business! Thanks so much for sharing!

Hey Dave,
This drill is awesome!!! I am always looking for ways to stay focused. Social media has so many components that it is so easy to stray away and lose sight of your purpose.
Your 15 min. drill is going into action!
Thanks again,
